Oakwoods Nature Preserve has more to offer than ever, as the “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center, originally built in 1994, continues to undergo a full renovation. While work will continue in the months ahead, the expanded facility already features additional parking and lighting, new classrooms for the Parks’ educational programs, and a new outdoor fireplace.
