Afro-American Museum posts exhibits for view online

A pair of exhibits at Wilberforce’s National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center can be viewed online, just in time for Black History Month. “Queens of the Heartland” and “The Art of Soul!” both opened at the Museum last fall, but had to close due to COVID concerns. Now, videos depicting walkthroughs of both exhibits have been posted to YouTube. “Queens of the Heartland” profiles 30 important Black women with ties to Ohio, while “The Art of Soul!” is a juried exhibit featuring 22 artists’ submitted pieces around the theme of “impact.” The Museum also has a full schedule of events and programs in honor of Black History Month.
