St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish announced that four nuns from the Dominican Sisters of Mary, based in Ann Arbor, will be moving to Findlay next August to work in St. Michael’s School. The parish will be demolishing three rental houses and building a convent for the nuns in the coming months. “It’s an opportunity that comes along only once every few generations,” said Father Mike Zacharias. “It has probably been 50 years or more since a new community of religious sisters has set down roots at one of our parishes in the diocese.”
