National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. The National Night Out program takes place annually on the first Tuesday of August. Neighbors across thousands of communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canada and military bases worldwide participate in the event. Flag City National Night Out will be held at Riverside Park near the volleyball courts. There will be live entertainment and demonstrations as well as free food and refreshments. There will also be several local mascots there to meet and greet children and they will participate in the 4th Annual Mascot Games.
