Thanks to the Mazza Museum, the fi rst Sunday of the month has become a “first priority” on parents’ calendars. From 1:30-3:30p.m., families can enjoy storytelling, art stations, music, refreshments, shopping and special guests. As always, admission is free. Each month has a theme, and some upcoming programs include:
October 3rd – “Super Sleuth” with authors Daniel Kirk and J. Patrick Lewis
November 7th – “Hurray USA” with Nick Catalano
December 5th – “Boxes and Bows” with Duane M. Abel
The Mazza Museum is located in the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion on The University of Findlay campus. Founded in 1982, the Museum demonstrates how illustrations in children’s books enhance and extend the meaning of the printed word.
