Those unfamiliar with the sport may wrinkle their nose, but disc golf is an engaging activity for all ages played with special discs (a more aerodynamic version of a Frisbee). The Disc Golf Community Association will host the 7th Annual Ray Heverling Charity Ice Bowl to benefit the Family Center of Findlay-Hancock County on Saturday, February 4, at 12pm at Riverbend Park’s Shelter 3. Players (new and old) are invited to play a round of disc golf with 18 permanent holes and two temporary, totaling a 20-hole game. Registration is $20.
