Attention all Hancock County canines! It’s not too late to register your owner for the 2nd Annual Humane Society Dog Walk. Grab your leash and take your human to Shelter #7, Riverbend Recreation Area on Saturday, October 2nd. Registration starts at 8a.m. and must be completed by 8:45a.m.
The two-mile walk is along the scenic bridle trial route (with plenty of room to sniff and stop). Cost is $20/person and one dog the day of the walk. Additional dogs are $5/each. The Humane Society encourages walkers to get sponsors as proceeds will help support services to animals in Hancock County.
A variety of door prizes and giveaways will be available for participants.
