The Jones Mansion on East Sandusky Street is a historic downtown landmark that has recently been updated and opened for the Findlay community to enjoy.
Eric and Jane Van Renterghem, who are only the third owners in 148 years, have carefully restored the beautiful and enormous 9,000 square foot home. The mansion is available to rent for social events such as birthday parties, fundraisers, baby and bridal showers, art shows, concerts, rehearsals, and weddings. The venue also organizes seasonal and specialty events. Events at the Jones Mansion take place year round and are sure to pique the interest of many. Recently they hosted an Adult Coloring and Wine Night, Napoli Pizza Night, and a Yoga and Martini’s event.
For the past two years the Jones Mansion has offered Historic Halloween Tours in the fall and the Christmas season brings afternoon open houses filled with treats, entertainment, and historic tidbits about the home. “This house was intended for music, culture, and laughter. We want the house to continue to be used in that way,” shared Eric Van Renterghem.
