River Landings

Features: Sits on the Blanchard River Greenway Trail and features a simple playground in a picturesque setting.
Riverbend Recreation Area

Features: A lovely escape on the Old Mill Stream Scenic Byway, Riverbend Recreation Area has activities for the whole family, including a campground, frisbee golf course, several trails, a dog park, and three playgrounds. The playgrounds include The Meadows: a treehouse adventure playground with a variety of slides and ways to climb up to treehouse landings (a hit with older children). Oxbow: a perfect playground for toddlers and preschoolers with baby swings and smaller climbing equipment. Big Oaks: a combination of playground equipment for all age levels.
Tips: Paved paths wind through the park and connect playgrounds, so bring your bikes, scooters and helmets and let your kids ride to their heart’s content.
Blanchard Valley Health System Miracle Park
3430 North Main St., Findlay
Features: Miracle Park is a fun playground and baseball field where children of all ages and abilities can play safely together. It features sensory-stimulating activities, handicap accessible swings, a rubberized surface for safe landings, and awnings to provide shade on sunny days. It is also home to the Miracle League of Findlay, a nonprofit organization that aims to provide sports experiences for children of all abilities and experience levels.
Tips: This playground can be a little tricky to find, so follow the signs to Miracle Park behind the Marathon Diamonds. This is not the same playground as the one adjacent to The Cube parking lot.
Litzenberg Memorial Woods
6100 U.S. Route 224, Findlay
Features: Litzenberg Memorial Woods sits in the scenic countryside right outside of Findlay. It features lovely hiking trails through natural wooded areas, the historical 1847 McKinness house and period garden, and a simple playground for children to burn off energy.

Riverside Park
231 McManness Ave., Findlay,
Features: Hancock County’s oldest park on the picturesque Blanchard River includes two playgrounds, one geared toward younger children and one for more advanced climbers. In addition, Riverside Park is also home to the Riverside Public Pool, Zonta Boat Landing, several volleyball courts, spots for fishing, picnic shelters, and even a band shell.
Tips: Zonta Landing Boat Rentals is open from 1-7pm on weekends from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Canoes, kayaks and pedal boats can be rented for $5 per half hour.
Emory Adams Park
1827 S. Blanchard St., Findlay
Features: Emory Adams Park is home to the Fort Findlay Playground, an imaginatively designed wonderland for children of all ages. It features a little kids play area, several slides, swings, as well as lots of places to play pretend.
Rawson Park

Features: Rawson Park provides a little escape right in the middle of town. Its playground is geared toward younger children with slides, swings, and plenty of places to climb.
Ede Park
