With the popularity of anime on the rise, more artists and avid fans are feeling the need to master the drawing technique. The Findlay Art League aims to help, offering an eight week Anime Character Design Class based on Japanese animation such as Naruto and Bleach. Each class member is asked to bring a sketch or brief description of a character, which they will develop by learning the basics of anatomy design and color. The fi rst class is on November 2 and students are asked to bring a sketchbook, pencil, micron pens and a character description.
